Stopping for the Night - St. Cloud, Minnesota

The Ride Home (Almost)

Hi again, those of you that still bother to check out this blog every now and then.

You may have noticed that I've been missing posts and updates like arrivals in new states and pitstops. I've been slacking and got really lazy lol but I'll contnue to try and do those missed posts. So far, I have a few posts regarding entering Idaho and Montana missing so I'll get around to those, but not right now on the road.

I'll try again to get onto the laptop to update the blog tonight.

Anyway, back to the trip. Seattle was, sadly, our last destination for this vacation. That is, our last destination before the wedding in Ohio this Saturday. Our route from Seatle is as direct and fast as possible because we have to be there on time, but our main goal before reaching home is to hit 10,000 miles in total for our entire vacation road trip. Hopefully, we can pull it off.

Album Updates

Pictures finally added to the August 14 and 15 albums. Refer to the August 14-15 Update.
New Mount St. Helens album from 8/17.
Also new Seattle album from yesterday, 8/18.

Not that many pictures in the two newest albums. I'll get around to posting summaries of 8/17 and 18. Right now, it's 1:30 AM in Washington and I'm dead tired.

Stopping until August 9 - Kirkland, Washington

Finally made it to Seattle. Kirkland is just 10 minutes outside of Seattle, and if you were wondering, yes, it's the same Kirkland you see on Costco products. The original Costco is here, you know :P

Today, we plan to go to the Future of Flight museum and, if we have time, see the Space Needle.

As for the Odyssey, don't yet know when it'll be repaired. Dad is having a hard time removing an overtightened screw that holds the sensor in place.

Me.. in Distress

Sorry for not updating on-time.

Anyway, we're about to leave the Courtyard by Marriott here in Tigard. Last night, shortly after arriving, I started shaking unbelievably hard from head to toe. I thought I was just cold, so we turned down the air conditioner. But I was still freezing cold and shaking, so I took a shower - didn't work. Even on seriously the hottest setting, the water wasn't enough to keep me from shaking. It was terribly scary, like I was having a seizure. My skin turned kinda black and every muscle in my body was just completely sore.

After a while, I finally stopped shaking, but by then, my back hurt, my legs and arms hurt, I had a migraine and a headache. I got out of the shower and mom said I had a high fever, and the chills, which would explain the seizure-like shaking.

Even now, I'm still really, really sore, and I'm only just awake enough to post this from Joy's laptop. Dad is out around town looking for some tools he was missing to fix the Odyssey in the parking lot. I guess somehow they escaped his little red toolbox. We're at the hotel going to leave as soon as dad gets here.

Today, our plan is to get to Seattle, about three hours away. Our hotel is in Kirkland (yup, the same Kirkland you see on Costco products, since Costco is based there lol). We're supposed to attend mass somewhere in Kirkland at 5:30 but I'm not sure.

When I was uploading the pictures for the Los Angeles (Part 1) album, the Toshiba gave out when there were only two more pictures to upload. I don't remember which ones they were and I won't bother uploading them.

I still have yet to upload the pictures for Los Angeles (Part 2). I could upload them now, but there's a lot, and dad will be coming back any minute now. I guess you'll just have to wait. Refer back to the August 14-15 Update post.

I'll do my best to stay awake enough to continue updating the blog down the road. I just hope my fever goes away and I don't start shaking like hell again..
